India proves – Yes We Can!
Yes we Can has been the theme of many an Indian for times immemorial.
Be it the Freedom Struggle in which the nation led by Mahatma Gandhi has proved “yes we can” achieve independence through non-violence or the green revolution and industrialization during the Nehru era and winning of wars against Pakistan during the leadership of Indira Gandhi, we have roved that Yes We Can!
Then came the non-Congress governments rule which destroyed the myth that the Congress had monopoly to rule.
Rajiv Gandhi proved that we can bring about a telecom revolution in rural areas and the Narsimha Rao government proved that we can take up the reforms step-by-step.
Among new age entrepreneurs Infosys Narayana Murthy and Wipro Azam Preji proved that India can wonders in IT.
The latest to join the Yes We Can roll of honour are the Indian Cricket team and ISRO.
India has defeated Australian cricket team decisively and has won the two one-day matches against England. Dhoni and team have proved: Yes We Can!
The Chandrayan mission to the moon, initiated by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam is no mean achievement. ISRO has done us proud. Needless to say: Yes We Can!
Rerquest sincerely Blog surfers to contribute all that they come across conveying Yes We Can and keep enjoying the good times.
